The Neurology Department at Landspítali provides specialized services for people with neurological disorders such as Parkinson's, MS, MND, MG, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and those who have experienced a stroke.

There has been significant progress and development ongoing in the department. The aim is to open a dedicated stroke unit within the department this fall.

Patients often stay for extended periods, so it is essential that the environment is warm and welcoming. This summer, a family room was introduced, and this support will be highly valuable in making the stay more comfortable and cozy for both patients and their families.
