Ljónshjarta (Lionsheart) is an organization to support young people who have lost a partner and children who have lost a parent, founded in 2013. Everything collected in the Íslandsbanki Reykjavík Marathon goes to the project Grípum Ljónsjartabörn (Cathing the children of Lionsheart) - to pay for psychological services for children who have lost a parent.
